January 2026

Over the course of a week in January 2026, eleven South African filmmakers gathered in Cape Town for AFMAC's intensive workshop. A group of twelve people pose playfully on a metal climbing structure in an outdoor park. Some sit at the top, others stand or lean against the bars, and a few hang upside down or strike expressive poses. They appear joyful and energetic, surrounded by trees and greenery.
