Over the course of a week, ten Kenyan filmmakers gathered in Nairobi for AFMAC’s intensive workshop, "Feelings as Creative Force—an exploration of emotion as essential material and methodology in film and media arts". Led by multidisciplinary artist Jim Chuchu and filmmaker and writer Wanuri Kahiu.

Participants included Achar Omondi, Awuor Onyango, Esther Kamba, Gitahi Godfrey Kariuki, Ibrahim Snoopy Ahmed, Juliet Muiruri, Kevin Nyang’anyi, Mark Maina, Muthoni Ndonga, and Patrice Mutiso
