Meet the Participants

Over the course of a week, ten Moroccan filmmakers gathered at the storied Cinémathèque de Tangier for workshops dedicated to the craft of character development and self-definition in storytelling for the screen. The workshops were led by award-winning filmmaker, writer and director Zeresenay Berhane Mehari.

Participants included Aziza Abdelhak, Salma El Belghiti, El Houssain Chani, Mehdi Chiha, Hassan Maanany, Ramata Maïga, Leila Nkhili, Ismail Rhojdami, Mahdi Taouli and Mokhles Zouak.
